Yoni Steam Tea
Mama's Yoni Steam is a nourishing blend of herbs made to cleanse and tone the vagina. Our Yoni Steam Tea can help with balancing menses, increasing fertility, relieve vaginal dryness and postpartum healing.
All Organic Ingredients: Red Raspberry Leaf, Nettle, Chamomile, Lavender, Rose Petals, and Rosemary.
Directions: Bring 8 cups of filtered water to a boil. Once boiling, add 1/4 cup of Yoni Steam Tea, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat & let the tea cool for 5 minutes. Transfer the tea to a cool pot/bowl, and place it below your steam stool (or in your super clean toilet). Get undressed from the waist down. Test the temperature by waving your hand a few inches over the pot.
Sit on your stool or toilet, over the steam for 15-30 minutes. The steam should not be so hot that it burns you. If it does, wait another 5 minutes & then try again. Use a towel or blanket cover yourself and lock the steam in. Wear warms socks to keep your body warm. Use this time for meditation or reading. When finished, discard herbs in trash and water in toilet.
Precautions / Contraindications
- Do not steam if you’re pregnant or if you are trying to conceive; speak with you doctor.
- Do not steam during your period
- Do not steam if you have an IUD
- Do not steam if there is excess heat in the body due to fever, hot flashes, or night sweats
- Do not use essential oils
- Do not steam if you have any type of internal or external infection
- Speak with your midwife or doctor about steaming postpartum
